After picking up Pope Benedict XVI at the airport, George Bush first asked where Mrs. Pope was. After being reminded that Catholic priests do not marry, the Prez quipped, " Wow, I bet you got one strong right hand-har har".
Later. the Pope asked if things were going well in Iraq. Georgie answered, " Hey, does the Pope wear a tall hat? Oh, wait, you're him."
And so it goes

I would be willing to bet money that he really did say some idiotic things to the Pope. Too bad the Secret Service isn't allowed to blog about it. ;)

Midleah, I'm not sure what type of confidentiality agreements that Secret Service agents have to sign but I would bet that one of Bush's detail could write a great book after he/she retires.
Whenever I hear the President speak, I always think of the song "If I only had a brain".
