I <3 Woodie Guthrie. Did you know they made some of his songs into children's books? Your grandbabies will love them Davey. You can read 'em or sing 'em.
Do you know of the singer Ani DiFranco? She's a folk singer like Woodie and has drawn inspiration from him. In a way some of her music is very much like the female equivalent of his.
I am not familiar with Ms. DiFranco but I will look her up. Thanks, Morgy. And thanks for the tip on the kid's books. I'm always looking for new ways to spoil my grandkids.
